According to statistics the UK domestic mass market is still largely untapped. Estimates range on penetration rates but with recent changes in guidelines almost all home security systems need either adjusting or replacing to comply. Home security has moved on significantly in recent years, the merging of computing, mobile and security technologies now means we’re able to provide solutions that don’t cost a fortune and do far more useful stuff than just deter and detect would be burglars. Blending these technologies and products together to deliver useful services and then delivering them in the name of our affinity partners is what 4bi do. We don’t totally rely on technology to do the job and neither should you. We look after customers how you would like to be looked after yourself. Our systems are there to support our monitoring station and customer care staff; we use technology to handle the added value services we offer like sending text messages to Mum when the kids get home from school. However we don’t use text messages to inform our customers of activations. These need proper attention; we’ve all had text messages that come in an hour or even worse a day after they’ve been sent and when dealing with security or care related issues we never rely on automated systems to manage the response. All of our affinity partners continue to work hard to develop their brands, some are looking to leverage revenue from their customer base others are looking to develop a better relationship through joined up services and ones that make sense to their customers. 4bi understand the risks and rewards operating in the security sector bring, if you are considering moving into the home security space then you need to know at least as much as we do.
